Bifenthrin is a pyrethroid insecticide used to control a range of pests. It has a low aqueous solubility and is not volatile. There is a low risk of groundwater contamination based on its chemical properties and it is not persistent in soil. It acts on the nervous system of insects, disturbs the function of neurons by interaction with the sodium channel. It is effective against a broad range of foliar pests, including Coleoptera, Diptera, heteroptera, homoptera, lepidoptera and orthoptera.

Purity:
Cloquintocet-mexyl content, percent by mass: 96% (w/w) minimum.

Compatibility:
Cloquintocet-mexyl, always in combination with herbicide Clodinafop-propargyl.

Shelf-life:
Two years under normal storage conditions.

Toxicity:
It is hydrolyzed to the free acid as the major metabolite. In-plant also it gets rapidly degraded to the free acid as the major metabolite. Cloquintocet-mexyl and its metabolites have low soil mobility, are strongly absorbed to the soil, and have low leaching potential. It is non-toxic for Birds. It is non-toxic for aquatic animals like shes. It is toxic for Daphnia. It is non-toxic for Bees.
