Mr. Sat Narain Gupta, Founder Chairman and Managing Director of Bharat Rasayan Limited, has almost four decades of experience in the manufacture and distribution of pesticides. One of the pioneers of this industry in India, he launched his independent venture of formulating and manufacturing pesticides in the year 1977 as a proprietary concern and later converted it into a limited company named Bharat Insecticides in 1989. Born in 1948, he holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Commerce and also has done post-graduation in Economics. Mr. Gupta is an expert in the arenas of International Business, Overall Marketing Strategy and Corporate Planning.
Mr. Mahabir Prasad Gupta, Whole Time Director of Bharat Rasayan Limited has a rich experience of more than 38 years in Agrochemical Industry. His expertise in areas of Accounts and Financial Management, have been the key contributions to Bharat Rasayan Limited, one of the fortune 500 Companies of India. Being a commerce graduate he also excels in Banking, Taxation and administration.
His strengths of Commerce background have been instrumental in establishing Bharat Insecticides Limited as one of the renowned brand manufacturing units of North India since 1982. Bharat Insecticides Limited is the face to the farmers of the group.
Mr. M. P. Gupta is also Director in BR Agrotech and is the key contributors in establishment of the manufacturing unit at Kathua ( J & K ) in 2005 with solo motive of P2P business model.
Mr. Rajender Prasad Gupta is one of promoter at Bharat Group of companies. He has been a Whole Time Director of Bharat Rasayan Limited since its inception. He has over 35 years of extensive experience in the agrochemical industry. Soon after completing his educational qualifications, he joined Bharat Insecticides Limited as a Director where he got a chance to master his technical and leadership skills.
Apart from commissioning the greenfield state-of-art manufacturing unit in Dahej - Gujarat, he has been instrumental in setting up the Mokhra – Haryana plant also. His focus in the field of R&D, EHS, excellence in manufacturing process has resulted in long term tie-up with various MNC’s globally including eminent Japanese partners.
Due to his long term association and initiative, Bharat Rasayan Limited entered into a JV with Nissan Chemicals Ltd, Japan in 2020 and formed a new company by the name of Nissan Bharat Rasayan Pvt. Ltd. to set up a pesticide manufacturing unit in Saykha - Gujarat.
Currently, he is spearheading overall planning of Bharat Rasayan Limited including procurement, production, sales, R&D and new project execution activities.
Shri Kamleshwar Prasad Uniyal, a MSc. Organic Chemistry and he has vast experience of over 40 years in the agrochemical industry. He is responsible for providing business direction to all verticals and leading all functions of Mokhra (Haryana) Unit. He has over 4 decade of professional experience in Pesticides, Pharma. Prior to Joining Bharat Rasayan in year 1991, he has worked with Ranbaxy Labs, Montary Industries & Rallis India Limited.
Mr. Ajay Kumar Gupta, a bachelor’s degree of Chemical Engineering from HBTI, Kanpur and Diploma in management. He is responsible for providing business direction to all verticals and leading all functions of Dahej Unit. He has more than 35+ years of experience in the Fertilizers, Pharma intermediate, Specialty chemicals & Crop Protection industry. Prior to joining our Company, he has worked with Coromandel International Limited, DCM Shriram Industries Limited.
Mr. Pankaj Gupta joined the Board of the company as an Independent Director in November, 2007. A graduate in Business Administration as well as Law, he has over 8 years’ experience in legal affairs.
Mr. Ram Kanwar was appointed as an Independent Director in July, 2008. A post graduate in Economics, he has over four decades of experience in business strategy.
Ms. Sujata Agarwal became an Independent Director of BRL in September, 2014. She has rich experience of 15 years as an analyst and consultant in financial affairs.
Expertise in Functional Area: Shri Suresh Kumar Garg has a rich experience in the field of Insurance sector.
Mr. Pradeep Kumar Aggarwal joined the Board of Directors of the Company as a Non-Executive Independent Director w.e.f. December 16, 2020. He has rich experience of 40 years in the Business Administration.
